The Broncos added a ton of headlining talent this off-season, with trades for A.J. Bouye and Jurrell Casey, and by drafting Jerry Jeudy and Lloyd Cushenberry III when they somehow fell to Denver.

With that said, don’t forget about guard Graham Glasgow, who should help upgrade the offensive line in a major way.

Ronald Leary was the Broncos’ worst offensive linemen last season, his mistakes were just less noticeable and less consequential than Bolles because he played guard. Now, the Broncos are replacing Leary with Glasgow, who was one of just three interior offensive linemen in 2019 to not allow a sack while being penalized less than four times. Zack Martin and Quenton Nelson were the other two.

Pro Football Focus is also a proponent of Glasgow and his signing with the Broncos, as they ranked him as the league’s 20th-best interior offensive linemen.

“Glasgow has started at left guard, right guard and center over the past three seasons for the Detroit Lions,” PFF analyst Ben Linsey wrote. “Playing all three positions is one thing. Playing them well is another entirely, but that’s exactly what Glasgow did, earning PFF grades of 70.0 or higher in each of 2017, 2018 and 2019 — a well-balanced effort with above-average play as a pass-protector and run-blocker. Signing Glasgow was one of several under-the-radar offseason moves that have the Broncos primed to compete for a postseason spot once again next season with Drew Lock at the helm.”

Linsey makes a good point about Glasgow’s impressive versatility, which is often overlooked and should be especially valuable this season for the Broncos. Though, it does seem like 20 is too low for Glasgow, considering how effective he was without being in a comfortable position, as well as some of the players in front of him.

For example, Titans center Ben Jones ranks two spots ahead of him and has been an average center for most of his career who had an outlier season in 2019, which doesn’t seem as impressive as Glasgow, who has been among the league’s top interior offensive linemen for the last few seasons.
