PLAYER REACT: The Denver Broncos love their quarterback

Last season, nobody expected the Denver Broncos to win the Super Bowl. It didn’t matter that they were the No. 1 seed in the AFC or that they consistently made Hall of Fame caliber quarterbacks look like scrubs. When the Broncos faced off against the Panthers in Super Bowl 50, Denver was a heavy underdog, and even after taking home the Lombardi Trophy, people had their doubts.

Coming into the new year, with strong offseasons around the AFC West, many had either the Chiefs or Raiders taking home the division crown, and hardly anybody had the Broncos repeating as champions. Yet, through three games, all Denver has done is go undefeated against three teams many had pegged as legitimate playoff contenders, if not more.

And on Sunday in a 29-17 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Broncos had their best performance to date.

It was a good day in Broncos Country.

But of all the Broncos on Sunday, nobody had a better day than Trevor Siemian, who threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions, marking the first time in NFL history that a quarterback has put up those numbers in their first road start.
