The Colorado Avalanche hit the ice Wednesday looking to even the series against the Nashville Predators at Pepsi Center.
One of the side-stories to the series for Colorado has been the unexplainable ‘house money’ momentum that can deliver a unexplainable boost to a team. Colorado slide into the playoffs at the very last moment and were severe underdogs against the top-seeded Predators.
But now Colorado is fighting back and at morning skate, Gabriel Landeskog spoke to Eric Goodman of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7 about the pressure of the series and who is feeling it the most right now.
“I think the pressures been on them basically the whole series,” Landeskog said, who mentioned that the only expectations that are on them, are the expectations that they put on themselves.
“Coming in, we didn’t really have anything on us, just the expectations we put on ourselves.”
Certainly game four will play a major role in the series and how it pans out. Landeskog knows that they’ve got to bring it all and says from there, find out where it takes them.
“We want to make sure we play another hard game tonight and see where it takes us.”
