The rainbow skyline is officially back as the Denver Nuggets unveiled their 2018-19 City Edition uniforms.

The skyline was the Nuggets main logo from 1981-1993, before being replaced by the modern logo that Denver used all the way up to this season. The last time Denver wore the skyline jersey’s were for one game, the 2016-17 home opener against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Nuggets lost that game by two in overtime, but was still a special night with the retiring of Dikembe Mutombo’s jersey.

In the second installment of the city uniform, the skyline jersey replaces the “pick-axe” set the Nuggets had last season.

According to Locker Vision via NBA.com, the Nuggets will unveil their new uniforms at home against the Houston Rockets on November 13th.
