It was a game of momentum and bold calls.
Two bold calls led to touchdowns on fourth-and-one – one for Denver and one for Minnesota, including a 48-yard touchdown run for Adrian Peterson.
Denver held the momentum throughout much of the first half, but saw a late surge by the Vikings bring the game within three.
The Broncos reclaimed it through the third quarter, holding Minnesota scoreless. But the Vikings battled back in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 20.
In the end, it was a bold call by defensive coordinator Wade Phillips to blitz safety T.J. Ward on 2nd and 10 with 0:35 left on the clock and the Vikings nearing field goal range that ultimately swung the final momentum into the Broncos’ favor to seal the win.
Here’s how the Vikings’ final possession unfolded on Twitter as the Broncos secured their fourth win in as many games to start the 2015 season.

Vikes still have 2 timeouts. Probably won't be able to give it to A.P. more than once or twice. Bridgewater gonna have to do it. #broncos
