Infinity Park and its home club, the Glendale Raptors rugby club, are ready for an action packed weekend as the Serevi RugbyTown Sevens tournament once again returns to town, this year from Aug. 14-16.
The three-day event will feature a high school tournament, international tournament, military championship, beerfest and live music, all at Infinity Park in Glendale.
Although the weekend will be packed with festivities, including opening and awards ceremonies, the Raptors are focused on the task at hand: brining home a Sevens title.
The head coach of the Raptors, Andre Snyman, joined Gil Whitely on Mile High Sports AM 1340 to talk about the event and his team’s preparation in advance of the big tournament.
