Aqib Talib may be getting off without so much as a slap on the wrist.
Back in June, Talib was shot in the leg in Dallas, Texas, and while many believe it was a (accidental) self-inflicted gunshot wound, nobody has been able to confirm exactly what happened that Summer night.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter had reported earlier in the offseason that he’d be surprised if Talib got less than eight games, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is now reporting that Talib is not expected to face any discipline for the incident.

This doesn’t close the book entirely on Talib. If more information comes to light, they could reopen the investigation, but for now, it looks like Talib will be available all year for the Denver Broncos.
