The Denver Broncos played a football game during a Bruno Mars concert just a little more than a year and a half ago.
Okay, okay Bruno Mars played the halftime during Super Bowl XLVIII between the Broncos and the Seahawks but considering how that night played out (43-8, yikes) some people may remember Bruno more than the football game (or maybe nothing at all).
With Bruno performing just two Super Bowls ago there’s no way he’d be up again this year, right? Not so fast.
Reports: NFL invites Bruno Mars to perform Super Bowl 50 halftime show. http://t.co/WHm8MtnNX9

Yikes. That’s not a good omen. The good news is it wouldnt’ be just Bruno on stage.
Entertainment Weekly says he’d be the “headliner,” which feels a little doubtful: he’s not a huge-huge name, and you’d expect the NFL to go all out for its 50th Super Bowl. Billboard says Mars has been asked to “curate” the show, which sounds more right. Bet on it being a big show, with a number of different performers (maybe including some other repeat guests), with Mars as the ringleader.
Let’s hope the Billboard report is the correct one. Nothing against Bruno, but the Broncos haven’t exactly had the most success with him in the building.
Who’s team Taylor Swift on this one? *Raises hand*
