Some players are just more popular than others, and Mike Miller is definitely one of those guys.
Reportedly, one of the reasons LeBron James left Miami, amongst many others, was because the Heat parted ways with Miller to avoid paying the luxury tax. And while Miller was a solid contributor to those Heat championship runs, it wasn’t his pure ability that attracted James and the rest of the Miami roster; it was everything that he brought to the locker room — chemistry, leadership, friendship.
So, it should really come as no surprise that the Denver Nuggets are bringing their beloved “player-coach” to their meeting with Dwyane Wade today.
Not only is Denver preparing to offer Dwyane Wade a two-year deal worth over $50 million, team source says Mike Miller is there for pitch.

Oddly enough, Miller isn’t technically a member of the Denver Nuggets’ roster, as he’s currently an unrestricted free agent. Many have expected him to come back in a similar role this season, and this may be further proof of just that.
Wade loves Miller, but only time will tell if his presence will be enough to push the Nuggets over the edge.
