REPORT: Shiloh Keo suspended two games

Shiloh Keo

According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, Broncos safety Shiloh Keo has been suspended two games by the NFL for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

While Keo played limited snaps for the Denver Broncos last season, his name may sound familiar. He was the player the Broncos signed mid-season after he reached out to defensive coordinator Wade Phillips on twitter.

Keo’s punishment stems from a February 13 arrest in Idaho for driving under the influence. TMZ obtained video of the arrest, where Keo denied any wrongdoing. He later plead guilty to a misdemeanor DUI, was given one-year probation and had his license suspended.

With the selection of two safeties in the NFL draft, though, Keo’s loss won’t be as harmful, but a looming Aqib Talib suspension could have the Broncos secondary looking thin to start the season.
