Reynolds spent time on the disabled list earlier in the season with a hamate bone injury in his left hand. At this point in time, it is unsure if the two injuries are related.
Gerardo Parra will likely soak up most of the playing time at first base for the remainder of the season.
Reynolds slashed .281/.354/.442 with 14 homeruns in his lone year as a member of the Rockies.
Reynold’s signed a one-year deal with the team prior to the season. As of now, there is no indication as whether or a not the two sides are interested in moving forward together.
