With Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, the Denver Broncos have two of the best receivers in the NFL. What they need though, is a No. 3 guy.
While many analysts are high on Courtland Sutton, DaeSean Hamilton may actually be that No. 3 receiver in the Mile High City next fall. Hamilton, the receiver the Broncos took in the fourth round, was a stud at Penn State and he’s excited to be playing in Denver.
In an interview with Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7, Hamilton said he can’t wait to play for the Broncos.
“It really does mean a lot,” Hamilton said of playing for the orange and blue. “Coming from Penn State, a storied program. And coming into the Broncos organization and just seeing a lot of the history. Seeing the winning mentality and really, the winning formula the Broncos have had in the past and just the amount of tradition they have here.”
So, how will Hamilton make the team as the slot receiving threat?
“I would definitely say route running is one of my strengths,” Hamilton explained. “So, I consider myself one of the best route-runners in this rookie draft class. That’s something I could have a bit of an edge over some of the other rookies across the entire NFL.
