The Denver Broncos released their first depth chart ever under head coach Gary Kubiak on Monday afternoon and there are a few things worth noting.
First up, Peyton Manning is listed as the No. 1 QB.
Okay, okay jokes aside let’s dive into the three most interesting / intriguing notes after digesting the depth chart a little bit.
No. 3 — The Broncos may have found their returner
.@Os_Island says KR job is his to lose.

Omar Bolden said it was his job to lose a week ago and right now he still has it.
Bolden is listed as the team’s No. 1 kick returner and punt returner.
He was one of the only guys who showed up in the playoff game against the Colts last year, so it’s a good sign he’s carried that momentum into 2015.
No. 2 — The ILBs appear ready to go
“Just seeing them out there … just having them two down there has been great.”

Both Brandon Marshall and Danny Trevathan were big question marks entering camp.
Apparently, they’ve both answered the bell.
Marshall and Trevathan are both listed as No. 1 options in the middle of Wade Phillips’ brand new 3-4 defense.
Considering they’re both tackling machines (when healthy) that’s huge. Each guy appears on the right track to play Week 1.
No. 1 — Chris Clark gets one step closer to playing where he belongs
Kubiak indicates they are leaning towards keeping Chris Clark at right tackle. Second-round pick Ty Sambrailo got work at left tackle

This is no longer the case.
Thank goodness.
Clark was the left tackle on the greatest offense in NFL history back in 2013 after Ryan Clady got hurt. Well, Clady’s down again after tearing his ACL in May and right now rookie Ty Sambrailo is slotted in as the No. 1 left tackle. Should 39-year old Peyton Manning really be protected by a rookie? That doesn’t sound like a good idea. So, while Clark hasn’t jumped Sambrailo quite yet, at least he’s back on the correct side now listed as the No. 2 left tackle.
It’ll be Clark’s job soon enough.
