The Denver Broncos hit the field to start a new week, the first full week before their first game of the year, a preseason match against the Atlanta Falcons on August 1st in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.

The clear theme of the day was the out of sync offense that struggled throughout the day. Several passes were dropped and penalties plagued multiple drives in 11-on-11 action. Adam Gotsis disrupted at the line of scrimmage with a batted pass off Joe Flacco and Bradley Chubb was consistently in the backfield next to his pass rush teammate Von Miller.

The quarterbacks, however, performed fine. Flacco, Drew Lock and Kevin Hogan all put passes where they needed to be, but the receiving core struggled, including Courtland Sutton who dealt with a drop and frustration during 11-on-11 period. Brendan Langley, Tim Patrick also dealt with drops, which seemed to plague the entirety of practice.

On the standout side, guys who shined include Isaac Yiadom who made a few pass breakups and continues to have an excellent camp, as well as DeVontae Jackson and Trinity Benson, both who are standing out in the time allotted to them.
