The Colorado Rockies have been awful this year.
They’re on their way to another fifth place finish in the NL West and no one has paid much attention to the team in months.
That doesn’t mean Carlos Gonzalez and Nolan Arenado aren’t still special players. Get a load of this.
Carlos Gonzlez and Nolan Arenado are 1st pair of teammates with 40 HR in a season since Jermaine Dye and Jim Thome had 40 for CHW in 2006

Wait, what?
That’s nuts.
Too bad Gonzalez and Arenado are stuck on this dumpster fire of a team. That’s some real production.
So it goes when you have no pitching, a stubborn owner and a GM who was promoted last year from within the inside of the organization.
Maybe this offseason they’ll finally get some pitching… Maybe.
