Last night’s Nuggets-Sixers game was set up to be one of the lowest-attended games of the year. Not only was their a blizzard haunting over the city of Denver, but it was matchup versus the team with the league’s worst attendance (Nuggets) versus the team with the league’s worst record (Sixers).
If that kept you from heading down to the Pepsi Center, though, you missed out. With milliseconds ticking off the clock, Emmanuel Mudiay did this:

That buzzer-beating three pointer gave Mudiay is 27th point of the game, adding to his 11 rebounds and four assists. His partners in crime, Nikola Jokic and Gary Harris, both added 18 to the Nuggets 104-103 victory.
It may be late March, and the victory may not mean much (other than a worse shot in the lottery), but it does prove something: This team has yet to quit. And when you’re building towards the future, as opposed to the present, it’s those things that you need to be seeing.
