It seemed like the Broncos just couldn’t catch a break. The Chargers were already plus five in turnover differential, and even when San Diego muffed a punt midway through the fourth quarter, Denver still couldn’t get their hands on the ball.
But finally, Shilo Keo, who was signed by the Broncos after asking Wade Phillips to do so on Twitter, got Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense the ball back inside Chargers’ territory with Denver’s first interception of the game.
On the next play Ronnie Hillman capitalized with a 23-yard touchdown run.

Denver has now scored 20 points with Manning under center in the second half, but the majority of the credit has to go to C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman, who have combined for 197 yards and two touchdowns.
