It was a long, arduous season for the Denver Nuggets, and now it’s finally over.

After a Game 7 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s reasonable for fans to take a breath. What was once seemingly a foregone conclusion turned into a pretty impressive playoff run by the Nuggets. They won an impressive playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers before pushing the Thunder to the brink. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and the Nuggets deserve credit for turning the season around, even if it still ended in a second round loss.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn breaks down the Denver Nuggets Game 7 blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder and what went wrong for Denver in this game and this season. The Nuggets are back in the same situation they were last year losing a game before the Western Conference Finals. What will it take for Denver to go from that level to winning it all?

Ryan breaks down the Nuggets’ loss, the actual problems facing Denver, and what’s next for the Nuggets amid an offseason of uncertainty.
