WTPU: Avalanche suffer injuries in OT loss to Golden Knights

The Colorado Avalanche picked up a point with an overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, but lost two members to injury.

Josh Manson and head coach Jared Bednar were both hurt during the matchup.

Bednar “will not require surgery at this time and is expected to make a full recovery,” Avalanche media relations reported. 

He will not travel with the team for games against the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames. Avalanche assistant coaches Nolan Pratt and Dave Hakstol will handle coaching duties.
