Logan O’Connor is back! The Avalanche forward made his season debut after recovering from offseason hip surgery and lingering issues — and earned an assist in the 6-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Pittsburgh had the upper hand last week at Ball Arena with a blowout 7-2 win. While it was not the Avs’ best effort, they managed to get the redemption victory over the Pens.

Scott Wedgewood was outstanding, Martin Necas found the back of the net twice and Sam Malinski scored his first since early December.
