The Mountain West Conference has released the 2015-16 conference basketball schedule. The Colorado State Rams will open play Jan. 2, 2016 at Boise State, last year’s MWC regular season champion.
The Rams finished 13-5 last year in MWC play, en route to a 27-7 overall record. The Rams were controversially left out of the NCAA Men’s Tournament, despite posting one of the top records in a very difficult conference. Boise State, San Diego State and Wyoming, who nabbed a potential CSU bid when they won the MWC tournament, all received NCAA bids.
CSU will wrap up conference play with a home game against Front Range rival Air Force.
