It has only been one year since the Colorado Buffaloes asked redshirt senior wide receiver Bryce Bobo to begin taking snaps at safety. An influx of talent had pushed the competition at wideout to another level. However, when newcomer redshirt junior wide receiver Juwann Winfree tore his ACL during Fall Camp in 2016, Bobo secured his spot with the ones on the offensive side.
Bobo would go to have an outstanding season in 2016 that earned him honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors. He ranked third on the team in receiving yards with 523 and was fourth in receptions with 41. Had two touchdowns on the year, including a game-winning, body-twisting, one-handed 31-yard touchdown catch that lifted the Buffaloes to a 41-38 win at Oregon and landed him the No. 1 play on SportsCenter’s Top 10 that night.
Bobo returns for his fifth and final campaign with sights set on success. He currently ranks 22nd in school history with 88 career receptions and is 31st in receiving yardage with 945.
