The Colorado Buffaloes were dominant defensively on Friday night in a home victory over Utah. The Buffs held the Utes to a season-low 55 points while McKinley Wright IV had 21 of Colorado’s 67 in the victory.

No Utes scored in double-figures, and Utah shot just 35.1 percent from the floor in the contest. The two sides were tied at 20 with 4:46 in the first half before Colorado went on a 7-0 run to end the period and take the lead for good.

Lucas Siewart had 13 points off the bench for the Buffs. George King recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds, all on the defensive end.

The win moves Colorado to 13-10 overall, but just 5-6 in the Pac-12. Tad Boyle‘s squad snapped a three-game conference losing streak and a seven-game losing streak to the Utes.
