Colorado Buffaloes (4-3, 1-3) Head Coach Mike MacIntyre addressed the media after practice on Monday, October 16th.
CU snapped a three-game losing streak over the weekend with their first conference win of 2017 over the Oregon State Beavers (1-6, 0-4), 36-33. The Buffs will now head back out on the road where they will take on the (#15/#18) Washington State Cougars (6-1, 3-1).
Coach MacIntyre speaks on what he’s seen from Wazzu on film. Also, what happened to the Cougars last week in their first loss of the season at the hands of the California Golden Bears (4-3, 1-1), 37-3.
The Buffaloes were consistent offensively, pounding redshirt-senior tailback Phil Lindsay on the ground all afternoon. Coach Mac talks about the adjustments made to the offensive line in an effort to help bolster production.
Colorado beat Oregon State, but in lackluster fashion as their defense once again allowed a team over 500 total yards. Mac talks about how CU needs to go about fixing the defensive issues.
Also, Arizona Wildcats (4-2, 2-1) quarterback sophomore Khalil Tate shredded the UCLA Bruins (3-3, 1-2) in similar fashion to what he did at Folsom two weeks ago. Coach MacIntyre talks taking solace in the fact that he was able to do it again.
