Blackmon is a two-way player who plays the wide receiver position as well as the cornerback role. His estimated 40 time is 4.64 and he ranks in the state of Georgia as No. 6 at the cornerback position and No. 97 at wide receiver.
Following a prestigious 7-on-7 camp the Atlanta Journal Constitution said this about Blackmon:
Pick an adjective: Busy Dynamic. Electric. Tired.
Each of those would have applied to Blackmon on Saturday. He was stretching the field vertically on offense and closing down on receivers at cornerback. His number was called often on shallow routes and he made a few dynamic moves in space.
Blackmon also reportedly received offers from Colorado State, West Virginia, Arizona, Kent State and Duke University.
