You can cross a familiar face off of the list of available free agent tackles for the Denver Broncos. Russell Okung has joined the division rival Los Angeles Chargers on a four-year deal, that’s reportedly worth $53 million.
I'm told Russell Okung has agreed to go the #Chargers on a 4-year deal for $53M. Guaranteed $25M

The deal was likely a little to rich for the Broncos’ blood, considering they declined an option on him that would have equated to a four-year deal worth $48 million. Okung started all 16 games for the Broncos last season.
The saga still isn’t over however. At least, not according to Mike Klis of 9News.

Because he is operating without an agent, Okung was not allowed to take advantage of the NFL’s “legal tampering period.” Nothing may come of the allegations, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye on.
