Our Picks

These are our top picks for Week 1.

Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are 11-2 against the spread (ATS) at home as an underdog over their last 13 games. We like them to keep it close against a Bears team that is just 6-13 straight up on the road over their last 19 contests. Carolina’s defense typically plays spirited football at Bank of America Stadium, and securing three points in what projects to be a lower-scoring, grind-it-out affair is simply too enticing. Chicago’s offensive consistency remains a major question mark, especially when traveling.

Pick: Panthers +3 (-110)

Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis struggled to end last season, dropping their last seven games overall. With Baltimore going 5-1 on the road over their last six, we will gladly lay some juice with the visitors to handle business in this 11:00 a.m. MT kickoff. The Ravens always bring a physical brand of football that Indianapolis will struggle to match in the trenches for four quarters. Laying the hook can be uncomfortable, but Baltimore’s ability to control the clock with the run and lean on their aggressive defense makes this a reliable spot to back the favorite.

Pick: Ravens -3.5 (-110)

Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers

The over has failed to hit in each of the last two matchups between these squads. Backing the under is the clear play in what profiles as a low-scoring defensive battle. Both offenses want to establish the run and limit turnovers, naturally leading to longer drives and a fast-moving clock. Pittsburgh’s defense, especially playing in front of a raucous home crowd, is fully capable of stifling the Falcons and keeping this game well below the total.

Pick: Under 41.0 (-108)

Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville is riding a dominant 8-1 ATS streak over their last nine games. Meanwhile, the Browns are a dismal 5-15 over their last 20. Don’t overthink this one. Jacksonville’s offensive firepower should easily outpace a Cleveland squad that consistently struggles to move the chains away from home. While laying over a touchdown requires confidence, the talent disparity and momentum favor a blowout victory for the Jaguars.

Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars -8.5 (-112)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals

Fading Tampa Bay has been a profitable strategy, as the Buccaneers are an abysmal 0-9 ATS over their last nine games. Cincinnati, conversely, is 5-2 ATS in their last seven. Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense look primed for a breakout performance against a vulnerable Tampa Bay secondary. Given the Buccaneers’ ongoing struggles to keep games competitive on either side of the ball, laying a short number with a superior Cincinnati roster is a strong play.

Pick: Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 (-112)

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans

Both of these offenses have trended toward high-scoring affairs. The over has cashed in five of New York’s last six games and four of Tennessee’s last five. This total is set surprisingly low given the offensive potential on both sidelines. Look for both quarterbacks to exploit favorable matchups, finding enough big plays down the field to easily push this contest past the 38.5-point threshold.

Pick: Over 38.5 (-111)

New Orleans Saints at Detroit Lions

While Detroit operates as a heavy home favorite, the Saints are a flawless 5-0 ATS over their last five games and 4-0 ATS in their last four road games as underdogs. Take the points. Detroit’s high-flying offense rightfully earns them favorite status, but the Saints possess the defensive discipline and veteran leadership to prevent a blowout. Getting a full touchdown with a New Orleans squad that thrives in this underdog role is exceptional value.

Pick: New Orleans Saints +7 (-110)

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans

Houston finished last season winning nine of their last 10 games and their last five at home. Grabbing points with a home underdog in this form offers excellent value. C.J. Stroud and the Texans are proving they can hang with the AFC’s elite, especially in their own building. The Bills will be tested by Houston’s ferocious defense, and taking the points with a red-hot home team is a smart way to attack this matchup.

Pick: Houston Texans +1.5 (-112)

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Chargers

Arizona is in a steep tailspin, going 1-14 over their last 15 games. The Chargers have been rolling in this situation, winning their last seven games when favored by a touchdown or more. Value found. The talent gap here is immense; Los Angeles features an offense capable of naming its score, while the Cardinals’ defense lacks the personnel to get necessary stops on third down. Expect the Chargers to dictate the pace and win this one by double digits.

Pick: Los Angeles Chargers -9.5 (-109)

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

At the end of last season, these teams were headed in different directions. The Vikings enter this divisional clash having won their last five games. The Packers have lost five straight and are 0-5 ATS in that same span. Follow the momentum. Minnesota has established confidence, finding consistent ways to close out tight divisional games, and new quarterback Kyler Murray looks like an improvment. With Green Bay reeling from injuries and struggling to find rhythm on either side of the ball, backing the home team laying a negligible spread is the most logical route.

Pick: Minnesota Vikings -1.5 (-110)

Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas possesses a surprisngly strong home-field advantage when laying points, going 7-3 ATS as a home favorite over their last 10 games. Miami is just 1-8 on the road as an underdog over their last nine. The hostile environment in Las Vegas is a genuine factor, and the Raiders’ defense has historically stepped up when heavily backed. Miami’s offensive struggles away from home make this a strong spot for Las Vegas to control the game from start to finish.

Pick: Las Vegas Raiders -3 (-110)

Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles

Although the Eagles are notoriously tough at home, Washington has covered the spread in four of their last five games as an underdog. We’ll gladly take the points in this rivalry showdown. Divisional games in the NFC East are notoriously hard-fought, physical contests that frequently come down to the final possession. While Philadelphia is undeniably talented, Washington has shown enough grit in the trenches to stay within striking distance and secure a backdoor cover if necessary.

Pick: Washington Commanders +5.5 (-108)

Player Prop Picks

Here are our favorite player props for Week 1.

Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers

Many people want to see if Caleb Williams can continue his growth entering the 2026 season. Carolina’s secondary has shown vulnerabilities that a creative offensive scheme can easily exploit, particularly in the red zone. Expect the Bears to rely heavily on Williams’ arm to finish drives and find his receivers for scores.

Pick: Caleb Williams Over 1.5 Passing TDs (-108)

Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis Colts

Derrick Henry’s bruising running style is a perfect fit for a Baltimore offense that wants to dominate time of possession and wear down opponents. Against a Colts defensive front that has been susceptible to the power run game, Henry should see more than enough volume and consecutive touches to eclipse this relatively modest total.

Pick: Derrick Henry Over 80.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Falcons have made it abundantly clear that their offense will run through Robinson this season, positioning him for a massive workload. From a fantasy perspective, Robinson was either the first or second player off the board in drafts this summer showing that fans agree with that expectation. Even against a stout Pittsburgh defensive line, his elite elusiveness and guaranteed volume of touches make this a prime opportunity for him to break a few long runs and comfortably clear this number.

Pick: Bijan Robinson Over 77.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence is poised for a big opening week against a Cleveland defense that can occasionally surrender deep chunk plays through the air. With a full complement of healthy receivers and tight ends, the Jaguars will likely lean heavily on their franchise quarterback to convert in crucial scoring situations near the goal line.

Pick: Trevor Lawrence Over 1.5 Passing TDs (-109)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals

Chase is the undisputed focal point of Cincinnati’s passing attack and a constant threat to break open a game with his run-after-catch ability. The Buccaneers lack a cornerback capable of shadowing him one-on-one for four quarters, meaning Joe Burrow should have no trouble feeding his favorite target early and often to cruise past this total.

Pick: Ja’Marr Chase Over 85.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans

Breece Hall is fully healthy and operating as the clear lead back in an offense that desperately wants to establish the run to protect its quarterback. Tennessee’s defense can be worn down by persistent rushing attacks, and Hall’s explosiveness means he might only need a dozen carries to break a big one and cash this ticket.

Pick: Breece Hall Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

New Orleans Saints at Detroit Lions

This yardage total feels far too low for a versatile playmaker of Kamara’s caliber and typical usage rate. As a dual-threat weapon, he will be heavily involved in the screen game, check-downs, and traditional rushing attempts, making this combined yardage prop one of the safest and most logical bets on the board.

Pick: Alvin Kamara Over 31.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans

When plays inevitably break down against a formidable Houston pass rush, Josh Allen is never hesitant to use his legs to pick up crucial yardage and extend drives. Expect the Bills’ quarterback to scramble frequently on third downs, easily accumulating the 32 yards needed to push this rushing prop over the finish line.

Pick: Josh Allen Over 31.5 Rushing Yards (-118)

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Chargers

Trey McBride has firmly established himself as the most reliable safety blanket in the Cardinals’ passing game. Since Arizona will likely be playing from behind and forced into a pass-heavy, catch-up game script, McBride should see a massive target share in the middle of the field that makes 57 yards highly attainable.

Pick: Trey McBride Over 56.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

Arguably the best wide receiver in football, Justin Jefferson is effectively matchup-proof regardless of the defensive scheme. Green Bay’s secondary will have their hands full trying to contain him, and getting the ball to Jefferson early and often will be the unquestioned top priority for Minnesota’s offensive game plan.

Pick: Justin Jefferson Over 73.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders

Achane’s game-breaking speed makes him a threat to cash an over prop on any given snap if he gets into the open field. The Raiders’ defensive front can occasionally over-pursue the backfield action, which sets up perfectly for Miami’s zone-running scheme to create massive cutback lanes for the explosive young back.

Pick: Devon Achane Over 69.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles

Making his highly anticipated debut in Philadelphia, Saquon Barkley will benefit immensely from running behind one of the league’s most dominant offensive lines. Against a Washington defense that has struggled to contain the run up the middle, the Eagles will happily feed their new star back to control the tempo of this divisional matchup.

Pick: Saquon Barkley Over 76.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
