2017 Accomplishments: Pure was second in the state in goals scored and third in overall points. He helped the Mustangs reach their second-straight Class 4A state title game.
What’s in store for 2018: He returns as the state’s leading scorer and he and the rest of the Dawson roster have unfinished business. The Mustangs are hunting for their first boys lacrosse title this spring.
On making his focus team goals having accomplished so much individually: “I think that’s what it’s all about for me and for my team. We’re going to do everything possible to do what we haven’t done in the last two years. And I’m going to do everything possible to help make that happen for both me and for the team.”
