2017 Accomplishments: If a box score showed that the Tigers were victorious on Friday night, Roper was likely a big reason for it. He rushed for over 2,600 yards and scored 38 total touchdowns in 2017.
What’s in store for 2018: Roper has every intention of being better next season. The Tigers lost in the Class 3A championship game, and that loss will motivate him to build on last season’s success.
How successes and failures will drive him for the 2018 season: “This is the first year that I’ve had serious offseason training for the upcoming year. One thing I’ve learned is that stuff pays off.”
