In the 30 days leading up to the start of Denver Broncos Training Camp 2016, we’re examining 30 big questions for the season. We’ll make a case for each answer; you’ll vote and tell Broncos Country what’s going to happen this year.

Perhaps the biggest story of the offseason regarding the Super Bowl 50 Champion Denver Broncos is what is going to happen to the Super Bowl MVP Von Miller.

The Broncos slapped Miller with the franchise tag back in March and have since been trying to sign him to a long-term deal.

Miller has made it clear that he wants to be the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history. He turned down an six year, $114.5 million offer that would’ve done just that because the guaranteed money didn’t stack up so well against some of his peers.

It seems as if Miller’s Instagram account has been his main platform for sharing his feelings on the situation with the world. In the caption of one of his photos, Miller claimed that there was “no chance” that he played the 2016 season under the $14.129 million franchise tag that the Broncos have placed on him. He also posted a photo that featured himself, head coach Gary Kubiak, Demarcus Ware, Peyton Manning and John Elway on the team’s visit to the White House in June, but made sure to exclude Elway from the picture.

It’s obvious that the two sides aren’t seeing eye-to-eye, and because of this Broncos Country is beginning to wonder whether or not they’ll settle their differences before the July 15 deadline.

Here are a few possible scenarios when it comes to Von Miller.

Scenario 1: July 15 rolls around and it’s apparent that the Broncos aren’t going to be able to get a deal worked out. That said, $14 million is still $14 million. Not wanting to miss a year of football in the prime of his career, Miller signs the franchise tag and plays the 2016 season. This solves the short-term issues, but prolongs the long-term issues until next offseason.

Scenario 2: Elway finally gives up the lowballing gimmick and offers Miller the money that so many people believe he deserves. The new highest-paid defensive player in NFL history takes the field with his team in time for training camp and doesn’t skip a beat in getting ready for the 2016 season and the Broncos title defense.

Scenario 3: Fed up with Elway and his games, Miller comes through on his word, misses a year in his prime, and sits out the entire 2016 season without a new deal. By sitting out the 2016 season, the Broncos future with Miller doesn’t look bright. When the 2017 offseason rolls around, MIller likely won’t be a Bronco again.

Scenario 4: Sick of Miller’s antics on social media, Elway takes a note out of the Carolina Panthers’ playbook and releases Von Miller a la Josh Norman. Another team likely gives Miller all of the money he wants and more and the Von Miller era in Denver officially ends.
