College football today is like Wild West, and Coach Prime is seeing that firsthand as the Colorado Buffaloes look to build their roster for the 2024 season. Just two weeks after Colorado landed the commitment of five-star OT Jordan Seaton, rumors are swirling that the top OT prospect in the nation could flip from the Buffaloes to another school, such as Maryland or others that have been recruiting him for some time.
Rumors started swirling after Seaton did not sign his National Letter of Intent despite committing to play for Coach Prime and the Buffaloes on the popular Fox Sports show “Undisputed” earlier this month.
Seated next to Skip Bayless and an Undisputed panel that included Michael Irvin, a former teammate and devout supporter of Coach Prime, Seaton pulled a Colorado Buffaloes hat out and announced his plans to play in Boulder next season. Shortly after that, Seaton explained why he chose Colorado and shared a message with his fellow recruits around the nation.
“You’ve got to believe in Coach Prime,” Seaton said. “Having the opportunity to play with somebody who’s done it at the highest level, a [Hall of Fame] level. Very few can say they did that. I’ve got two Heisman candidates, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, they’re amazing. You know how they go. If you ain’t rocking with us and you claim you’re a dawg, why are you not coming to Colorado?”
Fast forward to today, and it remains to be determined where Seaton will play college ball next fall. He reportedly visited Maryland after committing to Colorado, and a handful of additional schools are trying to get in his ear.

Seaton appears to be torn with the decision, although he did say “I’m still a Buff” in a recent interview with On3 Sports while adding: “Kind of just thinking and praying on it. Just thinking and praying on it. Right now I don’t really have a step-for-step.”
