With the game on the line, the Denver Broncos’ defense does it once again. First, there was the Von Miller strip-sack that halted a potential game-tying touchdown drive from the Bears, and then it was a goal-line stand on what would have been an overtime-forcing two-point conversion.

The defense did allow Jeremy Langford to sneak into the end zone on a 2-yard rush the play before, but they couldn’t get it done two times in a row, as the Broncos front-seven stuffed Langford on a run down the middle.

The Broncos now move to 8-2, three-and-a-half games up on the Chiefs for first place in the AFC West.

Overall, it was a solid all-around game for the Broncos, but, of course, the major storyline will be Brock Osweiler’s 250 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start.

Now the question becomes whether he’ll get his second.
