Even at 10-2, Broncos Country can’t seem to agree on much. Is Brock Osweiler the guy? Should they start Peyton Manning if he’s healthy? Is the offense good enough to win a Super Bowl, no matter who’s at quarterback?
It seems like everybody in Denver is on one side of the fence or the other, and they’re not moving.
But if there’s one thing Broncos Country can come together on, it’s that they DO NOT like Philip Rivers. Even if the “rivalry” between Denver and San Diego has dimmed over the years, the detest for Rivers’ trash-talking and whining will never go away.
After posting a piece yesterday about how Rivers’ trash talk only motivated the Denver defense further, that much was clear from our readers’ comments:
“He’s a whiner!”
“His mouth wrote em a check his ass couldn’t cash haha”
“Rives is an idiot”
“He is the wannabe tough guy who knows the refs won’t let him get beat up”
“Love it. He’s the only QB I hate as much as Brady.”
And that’s just the stuff that was clean enough to post on our site. Let’s just say that a lot of people felt like Rivers was being a little female dog (if you catch my drift).
But no fan’s reaction was better than this guy’s, who actually took a bath in Philip Rivers’ tears.
