For the Denver Broncos, a disappointing season has finally come to an end, meaning that self-improvement now becomes the top priority for most players.
In an interview with Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7, Broncos defensive lineman Adam Gotsis talked about his 2017 campaign.
“I feel like I had a good year. Not perfect by any means; could be better, could be worse,” Gotsis said. “It’s one of those things you’ve got to keep working at, you know? Work hard in the offseason; put in a lot of hours and see what happens — that’s all you really can do. You go in and hope that everyone’s working like you when you come back, and hopefully have a better result than what we finished with this year. Personally, I always feel like I could be better.”
The Broncos were drastically improved in the run defense and Gotsis’s improvement played a major role in that. The Australian native talked about the Broncos’ defense this season, and their improvement in 2017 against the run.
“I feel like we were a good defense, but we weren’t perfect,” Gotsis said.
