The Colorado Avalanche announced its preseason schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 campaign, which begins with a game against the expansion Vegas Golden Knights at Pepsi Center on Sept. 19.
The Avalanche will play a total of six preseason exhibition games, including three at home. The Avs will face the Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and the expansion Vegas Golden Knights twice each. Colorado bookends the preseason against the Knights, closing out the preseason schedule in Las Vegas on Sept. 28.
The Avs depth will be tested even in the preseason as they will play three games in three nights in three cities from Sept. 23-25, including a home-and-home against Minnesota.
