The San Jose Sharks were able to force a Game 7 against the Las Vegas Golden Knights. After the thrilling 2OT victory (2-1) on Sunday, the two teams will conclude the series at the SAP Center Tuesday night. The puck will drop at 8:00 p.m. MT – with TV coverage provided by NBC Sports Network.
With the San Jose-Las Vegas series advancing, the Colorado Avalanche will anxiously await to find out who they’ll be facing in the Western Conference Semifinals. Colorado, of course, defeated the top-seeded Calgary Flames in five games in the opening round.
As the lowest seed in the field, no matter who wins Game 7 on Tuesday, the Avalanche will start the ensuing series on the road. Though, that may not be an issue as the Avs were able to beat the Flames on their home ice twice.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at how the Avs handled the Sharks and Golden Knights in 2018-19.
