Brandon Marshall made headlines — as well as a few allies and enemies — when he began kneeling for the National Anthem this season, joining a protest that began with his college teammate Colin Kaepernick.
Today, he’s announced that after eight weeks he’ll be standing for the National Anthem and will continue to do so for the remainder of the season.

Many questioned what Marshall’s end goal was, and it now seems clear.
Whether you agree with the protest or not, it’s difficult to deny that Marshall sparked conversation and raised awareness.
