For a team struggling to defend the run, the Broncos received some bad news on Friday, as starting middle linebacker Brandon Marshall won’t be able to suit up on Sunday against the New England Patriots and LeGarrette Blount.

Marshall has been dealing with a hamstring injury for several weeks now, and Denver wants to make sure they don’t put him in a position where he can hurt it any further.
Todd Davis, who starts next to Marshall at linebacker, has also been limited in practice this week, but reports are that he was practicing on Friday and will have an opportunity to go on Sunday.
