The Denver Broncos may have been dealt their first major blow of the season, as Vance Walker was carted off the field during team drills on Monday.

Walker, who was listed on the Broncos first depth chart as the starting defensive end opposite from Derek Wolfe, was expected to play a major role on the Denver defense, especially on running downs.
If this injury ends up being serious, Jared Crick will have to step up into a larger, three-down role.

Likewise, it might also mean increased playing time for rookie Adam Gotsis, whom the Broncos drafted in the second round.
