Fort Lupton, Colo. native Brian Shaw – not to be confused with the former Nuggets coach – will be one of the featured athletes in the 2015 World’s Strongest Man competition, with broadcasts on CBS Sports Network beginning June 25.
Shaw won the title in 2011 and 2013, and hopes to reclaim it from Lithuania’s Zydrunas Savickas, who took the title in 2014.

The competition was previously completed in April, though the broadcast will occur over the course of the summer.

Shaw’s Wikipedia page says he’s the winner of the 2015 competition, but the page has mysteriously been deleted. A story from Muscle and Fitness confirms that he is, indeed, the winner.
