The Broncos are undoubtedly the lifeblood of the city of Denver and most of the state of Colorado. Every Sunday, thousands of loyal members of “Broncos Country” show their support for the team, both in the stadium and in living rooms for watch parties.
Today, the Broncos showed that the community means as much to them as the team does to the community. A group of nearly 50 team employees, including President and CEO Joe Ellis and a variety of players teamed up with Kaboom! to build a playground at the Shopneck Boys and Girls Club.
Kaboom! is an organization that works to build playgrounds in underprivileged areas. According to the official site, only one in four children get the proper daily amount of physical activity in the United States.

“For the 14 million (children) living in poverty, play is too hard to come by as their families face many obstacles to play; from a lack of safe places, under-resourced schools that cut recess and physical education, and too much screen time.”
Along with a banner day off the field for the organization, several members of the Broncos were recently honored by Pro Football Focus’ Top 50.
