There’s no question that John Elway is the greatest, most-beloved Bronco of all time, but Terrell Davis is right up there. So when TD comes out and says something about the Orange and Blue, Broncos Country listens.
Well, then what do we think about this?
Did I just say on @NFLHQ to start Osweiler over Manning against the Patriots if Brock plays well against the Bears this week? Yes I did!

If you’re one of the many still behind Peyton Manning, than this has to be your worst nightmare. I mean, what do the Broncos do if Osweiler lights it up against the Bears? Do they just toss the clipboard right back into his hands?
To be honest, though, that’s not the real question. Let’s just say Osweiler does go off against Chicago. If the Broncos want to give him another shot against the Patriots, it’s easy; all they have to do is say that Manning still isn’t healthy enough to play.
The real question is what the Broncos do if Osweiler plays well against the Bears, Patriots, Chargers and Raiders? Do the Broncos bring Manning back for the stretch run into the playoffs? Do they bring him back for the playoffs at all?
If you believe Mile High Sports’ owner James Merilatt, the answer will be a resounding no. Why? Because this is exactly what John Elway and Gary Kubiak have wanted all along; they’ve been looking for any excuse to make the move to Osweiler, and now they have it.
Apparently, TD believes this is Brock Osweiler‘s job to lose, too, but what do you think?
