Denver Broncos fans can finally say it. After a few seasons of miserable quarterback play, the organization has found a franchise quarterback.
Okay, maybe it’s a bit premature, but he’s looked every bit of it two games into his career. Drew Lock carved up the Houston Texans for 300+ yards and three touchdowns, the first time in NFL history a rookie quarterback has done that in his first road start.
Lock’s play has revitalized Denver on offense and brought excitement back to the team. On the latest Broncos Blitz podcast, host Ronnie Kohrt talks about Lock making the team go and all the characteristics of a franchise quarterback being revealed.
Lock has also made the rest of the team better, improving the offensive line play (one sack in two games) and putting points on the board.
Kohrt also discusses the Broncos defense and what head coach Vic Fangio has done to change the culture and bring a great defense to the table weekly.
