Colorado Rockies All-Star outfielder Carlos Gonzalez departed Wednesday night’s game with an apparent ankle injury.

Gonzalez collapsed in pain after taking a swing at pitch in the bottom half of the seventh inning.

Gonzalez was helped off the field by the training staff.
CarGo was 3-5 with three RBIs and two homeruns before exiting the game.

Gonzalez said postgame that x-rays were negative and he’s experiencing just a little soreness. He hopes to be back on the field Thursday for the series finale.
