When training camp kicks off Saturday, Carlos Henderson won’t be with the team.
According to Mike Klis of 9News, Henderson is dealing with a family/personal situation and hopes to rejoin the Broncos soon:

Henderson was taken in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by Denver and has yet to do anything in the NFL. The 5’10” receiver injured his thumb during preseason last year, sitting out the final two games, and then was place on the Injured Reserve.
In January, he was arrested for having a controlled substance, meaning his status for the beginning of the season was already up in the air. On top of the injury and arrest, Henderson was likely to be buried on the depth chart, with Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders locks at Nos. 1 and 2 receivers and two new rookies battling for No. 3.
In all likelihood, either Courtland Sutton or DaeSean Hamilton will be the No. 3, and the other, the No. 4 for Denver going forward. That leaves the No. 5 receiver spot open for Henderson to battle against Jordan “Sunshine” Taylor, Isaiah McKenzie and more.
No word on when we will see Henderson in camp, but as his agent said, he hopes it will be “soon.”
