Earlier this morning, legendary Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson jumped on NFL Network to say that there are “no shutdown corners at all in the NFL.”
He was being asked about whether Josh Norman deserved to be the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL, but his comments extend past the Panthers’ star defender. And it’s clear that his words have reached their way to Dove Valley, as the Broncos had a very simple response for LT.

Then what would you call the “No Fly Zone,” LT? What else does it take to earn the reputation of shut-down corner other than leading your team to a Super Bowl championship?
For Chris Harris, though, the one thing he knows is that he has one more ring than LT.
Me , sherm , revis , Talib , butler got rings lol not worried about what LT saying

And Broncos beat reporter Troy Renck got in on the action, too.
#Broncos @ChrisHarrisJr can play outside, play in slot, can audible like QB, quick in space, physical at point of contact. That is elite

@ChrisHarrisJr crazy…Play on historically great defense that centers on relentless pass rush and corners who cover tighter than SaranWrap

And Richard Sherman agrees.
@ChrisHarrisJr nobody ever worried about what LT says. We will all keep going out there and playing at a high level.

Next time, LT, you might want to be a bit more careful about what you say. The Broncos are listening.
