The Oakland Raiders were driving late in the fourth quarter, trailing 9-7 after Sebastian Janikowski missed a field goal for a second time on the day.
Things were tense for the Broncos, as the offense was sputtering, having thrown an interception and punting on the previous two possessions. Then, Chris Harris decided on third and five, he’d just go ahead and make the difference in the game.
His 74-yard return proved to be game-winner, as Janikowski hit a 50-yard field goal inside the 2:00 warning. Oakland attempted an onside kick, but Demaryius Thomas recovered it for Denver.
Here’s the video, and the Denver media’s reaction as it happened.
The @Raiders were charging.
The @Broncos were on the ropes.
Chris Harris Jr. wanted none of it.

74-yd INT-TD by Broncos CB @ChrisHarrisJr is the 7th-longest INT-TD in team history. 2nd-longest INT-TD in the NFL this year.

I won’t be surprised @ChrisHarrisJr is in line for another #Broncos AFC Defensive Player of The Week nod…
