The Colorado Rockies made some moves in their bullpen on Wednesday; announcing that they have reinstated pitcher Chad Qualls from the 10-day disabled list (right-forearm tightness) and have placed pitcher Mike Dunn on the 10-day disabled list with back spasms, retroactive to Sunday, April 23.
Qualls has yet to play for the Rockies this season. The 38-year-old appeared in 44 games for the Rockies last season, posting a 5.23 ERA.
In his first season in Colorado, Dunn has been lights out for the Rockies. In 10 games this season, the 31-year-old has an ERA of 1.17.
Coincidentally, Qualls and Dunn were teammates with the Miami Marlins in the 2013 season.
