Colorado State and Southeastern Conference member Vanderbilt jointly announced today a four-game football series between the two schools to begin in 2020. The Rams will travel to Nashville for the first game in the series Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, with Vanderbilt playing in Fort Collins on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.
The final two games in the series are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 in Nashville and Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 in Fort Collins.
CSU and Vanderbilt have never met in football. The Commodores are the fourth SEC school with whom the Rams have scheduled future games, joining Alabama (2017), Florida (2018) and Arkansas (2019).
As Colorado State continues to build out its future football schedules, the Rams now have 17 games against opponents in Power 5 conferences between 2016 and 2026.
“We have high goals and aspirations for our program, to provide our students with the experience of playing against the best possible competition during their time as a Ram,” said CSU head coach Mike Bobo. “At home and away, our team and our fans can anticipate an aggressive approach to scheduling future opponents.”
