No doubt about it, Tory Horton is one of the best receivers in college football this year. He’s also one of the top senior players at any position.
That’s why Horton was invited to the 75th Reese’s Senior Bowl.
So proud to have my 5th player invited to the Senior Bowl as a head coach. So proud of Tory Horton, well deserved.💯#RamGrit🐏👕🏈 pic.twitter.com/wGbrSxKDeS

He was also named the Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week for his great game against CU in Week 3.
Tory Horton has put together a special season at CSU
So far this year, Horton has been putting on a show.
Not only is he the No. 1 receiver on the Rams—and in all of the G5—he’s the team’s top punt returner and has even thrown passes with success.
Through 10 games, he has 81 receptions for 872 yards and 6 touchdowns. Those 81 receptions are third-most, and his 872 yards are 18th-best in the nation. And all of those marks hold true even though he’s really cooled off the last four weeks in terms of production.
The last time Horton went over the century mark was Week 7 against Boise State (130 yards), and his last receiving score game in Week 5 against Utah Tech. Of course, that game versus Utah Tech was his career-best in multiple categories; 227 yards and 3 touchdowns.
There’s seemingly been a bigger focus by defenses to slow him down, but Horton finds ways to best opponents.
Horton can throw the ball, and well
Horton’s gone 2-3 passing this year for 74 yards, including one touchdown and one interceptionl
The touchdown came against CU in the Rocky Mountain Showdown.
Alright, game on here in Boulder. What a pass by Tory Horton, beautifully placing the ball in stride for Dallin Holker. #CSURams pic.twitter.com/Oz7ZaGFNhh

Talented punt return man
Horton does just about everything on the football field, including impacting special teams.
He’s returned 11 punts for 147 yards and one touchdown. That’s good for 13.4 yards per return, which is 10th-best in the nation.
PFF has graded Horton as the second-best WR this year
And back to his main job, catching the football.

Tomorrow, Horton takes the field in Fort Collins at Canvas Stadium for one final time. He and the Rams (4-6), look to beat Norvell and Horton’s former team in the Nevada Wolfpack (2-8) to keep Colorado State’s bowl dreams alive.
That game kicks off at 1 p.m. MT and celebrates all of the Rams seniors.
